Raspberry Glazed Pork
Alright pork roast fans.....here's a sweet one for you! We take a pork roast and rub it with spices, and raspberry jam. You will also make a glaze with more spices and jam that you will serve with the roast that simply simmers the day away in your slow cooker welcoming you home to an easy and elegant meal. It will be packaged in a plastic bag. - Gluten Free with substitutions.
Thaw in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days or until completely thawed. Place the contents of the pork roast package in a slow cooker. Stir in 2 cups of water (1 cup for small). Cover and cook on a low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours or a high heat setting for 4 to 5 hours. Remove the roast from the slow cooker and place it on a serving platter. In a small saucepan empty the contents of the jam mixture. Cook and stir until heated through. Spoon over the roast. Serve with hot cooked pasta. Pasta Bring a saucepan of 3 cups of water (6 cups for 2 bags) and 1/4 teaspoon salt to boil. Reduce heat, add pasta and cook for 10-12 minutes. Drain and serve.
Serve with your favorite steamed vegetables.
