Mexican Style Beef Stew
This colorful stew is not only beautiful to look at but scrumptious to eat! It includes stew meat, onion, bell peppers, peas, green chilies, chickpeas, and different spices to create a vibrant combination of flavors. It is packaged in a plastic bag.
Thaw in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days or until completely thawed. Heat a large skillet over a medium heat and add 2 Tbsp of oil (1 Tbsp for splits). Remove five pieces of stew meat at a time from their bag, shake them in the flour bag, and add them to the hot skillet. Cook the meat until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Add the contents of the veggie bag to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the contents of the peas package to the skillet. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
