Shrimp & Spicy Orzo
This meal is perfect for guests and quick to cook! Your shrimp will marinade in a sweet combination of soy sauce and sesame oil. Serve it with the orzo pasta that is dressed up with carrots, green peppers and a little kick of jalapenos. Remember that you control how much spice you add so it can also be family friendly. It will be packaged in a plastic bag.
Thaw in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days or until completely thawed. Place the shrimp in the sauce bag and allow to marinade in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta as directed. Drain the orzo and return to the stovetop. Add the contents of the veggie bag and cook 3-4 minutes. In a large skillet, cook the shrimp & sauce over a medium heat for 4-6 minutes until pink and cooked through. Serve with the orzo. Orzo Pasta Bring a saucepan of 3 cups of water (6 cups for 2 bags) and ½ teaspoon salt to boil. Reduce heat, add pasta & cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain and serve.
