Bistro Chicken



*NEW* This Italian-inspired chicken will simmer in a sauce of tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, celery and spices. Serve over pasta that we include. This is a great weeknight dinner that the whole family will love! Gluten-free with substitutions.

Cooking Instructions:

Bistro Chicken

Thaw in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days or until completely thawed. Heat a large skillet over a medium heat and add 1 Tbsp of oil. Remove the chicken from their bag and add them to the hot skillet. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side, until the chicken is 165 degrees using your meat thermometer. Add the contents of the veggie bag to the skillet along with 1/4 cup water (2 Tablespoons for splits). Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 30 more minutes. Meanwhile, cook pasta as directed. Pasta - Bring a saucepan of 3 cups of water (6 cups for 2 bags) and 1/4 teaspoon salt to boil. Reduce heat, add pasta and cook for 10-12 minutes. Drain and serve.
