French Dip Sandwiches



Looking for a good meal to serve on the fly? Look no further than our fabulous French Dip Sandwich. The beef roast will simmer throughout the day in your slow cooker in a marinade with onions and seasonings. To serve, shred the meat and place the shredded roast on buns with cheese and toast to perfection. Mmmmm...toasty! It will be packaged in a plastic bag. - Gluten Free with substitutions.

Cooking Instructions:

French Dip Sandwiches

Thaw in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days, or until completely thawed. Place contents of beef package in a slow cooker. Stir in 1 cup of water (1/2 cup for smalls). Cover and cook on a low-setting for 8 to 10 hours, or on a high-setting for 4 to 5 hours until the roast reads 155 degrees using your meat thermometer. Remove the meat from the cooker and slice. Place on hoagie buns. Top the sandwiches with sliced cheese and bake open-face style in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted. Skim and discard the fat from the cooking juice to use the remainder as an au jus dipping sauce.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with sweet potato fries or your favorite deli salad.
